I wanted my bedspread to have an eye catching pattern and it is eye catching. I got the tangerine and (as others have mentioned) it was very orange. But there are so many other beautiful flowers in there! Here's the thing, when the blinds and curtains are open all the other bright colors and patterns can be seen. Every single strip is beautiful up close (unless the birds are a bit sloppy). But when the light is low (because they're in the bedroom 90% of the time), it looks like a brown and orange striped blanket. I flipped it sideways so the stripes were vertical and I liked that better, but the teal and magenta just didn't stand out like they do in the pictures. I sent it back and received a different color from the same company. It's not very soft but looks well made for the price.
