I was a little surprised when I pulled this thing out of the plastic box it came in. The mesh on the screen felt stiffer than my other brand Lycra fly mask. Maybe w means more durable? crossed fingers My Quarter Horse has a regular sized head but I always scale it down to the butt for his fly masks and this works very well with multiple brands. I like the print as it's easy to see in the field when he takes it off. Our last Lycra mask was green. stupid idea from me! I spent over $100 on different fly masks this summer trying to find one that he would keep and not just destroy. My first lycra suit finally broke a few weeks ago. This is his replacement. I like how they fit snugly and don't press the face as they are too grippy or bulky. Lycra masks also dry quickly when wet, which is a big plus. Sometimes I don't get to the stable during the day and knowing that it will rip apart if caught or pulled over the head gives me peace of mind. I love Professional Choice Lycra fly masks and I think my horse does too. Maybe I need a backup too.
