I don't know what happened to mine. I washed them with a white boot before wearing them for the first time. I used some bleach. When they came out of the dryer they had what appeared to be rust spots. Also, we've only had them for a few weeks and they have holes in their belts. Very thin quality material. Not what I expected from Hanes.
