Review on πŸ› Ginger 0222-24/PC Sine, Polished Chrome, 24 Inch Double Towel Bar - Enhance Your Bathroom DΓ©cor and Organization by Michelle Williams

Looks great; Difficult to install

Ginger manufactures no fewer than 16 lines of premium solid brass sanitary ware, but calls the cheapest line Sine the Motiv. Although it's cheaper (and easier to buy online), I find the quality to be very high, in line with other Ginger lines. You won't confuse this with the hollow things sold in big stores. I think the Sine is quite attractive if you want a modern style and the corner detail (hard to see in the photos) adds interest. If you want something visually stronger, try the Ginger Kubic line, although it's listed at almost 50% more. Sine is available in polished chrome or about 20% more expensive in satin nickel. Revain tends to sell chrome models and prefers marketplace sellers for satin nickels. My only issue is that while the hidden mounting system is simple, it requires very careful measurements and errors are difficult to correct. At each end, a small T-bracket is attached to the wall with two screws and a protruding round bolt is inserted into the hole at the end of the bracket. There is practically no play here, so you should position the strut almost perfectly. Luckily, one of the two screw holes is extended so you can make small adjustments after drilling the screw hole, but no more than 1/16 inch. You install versus using the nominal size. The included plastic drywall anchors are high quality and provide good support, but they will break if they hit a stud or other wood supporting the drywall. ), and if you bump into a tree, use a wood screw without a dowel.

Pros
  • Solid brass construction for maximum beauty, durability and longevity
Cons
  • Expensive
