This bag is almost exactly what I wanted. It has that vintage look that many modern bags don't have, although it tries its best I don't like the metal finish. There is only steel underneath, and when the antique fake brass wears off it looks like silver. It broke pretty quickly. I filled it, it can hold quite a bit. I was too ambitious with the books and travel mug, and the small screws that attach the purse to the metal clasp broke. I sewed it back on and everything was fine. The buckles that attach the strap to the bag broke through no fault of my own. If I didn't have almost the same strap from another purse I would send it back. You get what you pay for. But if you're poor and want to be stylish, that's a very good thing.
