Nice design with little functionality problem

Really neat, so many attachment points and the ergonomic shape is nice. porters only. In other works it had no weight. Adjusted the shoulder straps, kidney pads and waist belt, checked the side profile in the mirror to see how well the last adjustment worked, then leaned forward. Well, almost twisted. The frame fits so perfectly that there isn't as much space behind it as with the ALICE system. I've literally ridden thousands of miles on ALICE and have never had any issues with pitch due to the space between the back and the frame. It fits so perfectly that when the straps are tight and the person leans forward, the body flexes more than the frame can flex, which puts a strain on you. In other words, you can bend your shoulders and upper back more forward than the frame follows. Maybe because I'm over 5ft 7in tall. The cushion/waist belt to the frame is bent. I can press the lumbar pad against the back of the frame with one hand and the outsides flex. Seeing this, I grabbed the frame from the top and opposite from the bottom and it twists and warps. The principle is said to be shock absorbing to the body, but grandiose claims are made that this frame can withstand 200 pounds. It looks to me like it might be in a 2 minute test. I understand that if there is such a load, in the real world where things are not tested in a lab, shear loads that change the center of gravity and put excessive force on the tie downs or other device with less force on the other Attachment would cause something to fail. thin partitions that can be bypassed with straps. I think my assessment is correct. Watch a YouTube video of this frame failing and breaking and make your own decision. It definitely has excellent versatility and since I won't be putting heavy weights on it or doing anything extreme I might buy more to gift to others who carry backpacks and can't carry accessories outside of their backpacks. Now it is a small backpack and other inconvenient equipment, such as fishing tackle and rods, as well as a tent that does not have a compact design.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Good overall but...
