I already had a curling brush that I liked, but wanted a slightly smaller diameter. It looked like it would work and got great reviews. I've only used this thing a few times and every time I do it reminds me why I don't use it more often. Takes a long time to heat up compared to my other curling irons from other brands. Not a deal breaker but could make a difference. However, I also burn my fingers every time I use it. The tip of this thing heats up just like the rest of the brush. I mean very, very hot. To use it you need a heat resistant glove or just use it with one hand. I'm not smart enough to curl my hair with one hand and I don't want to buy a special glove just for hair tools. And I don't need it - my other Phoebe curler keeps the tip cool. I will NEVER burn my fingers on this brush. je. After burning my fingertips one last time, I threw the thing away and bought Phoebe's curling iron as a replacement. It's more expensive, but in this case you get what you pay for.
