Review on Philips Norelco Replacement QP220 80 by Laura Brooks

First of all, I'm a mechanical engineer and I work in high volume manufacturing. I have been using these blades for almost 5 years. They were great for the first few years, the blades stayed sharp, smooth, very little difference in height of cut. Now their production seems to have expanded their technological parameters, so I noticed a big difference in the height of the blade, the sharpness of the blade and the smoothness of the diamond pattern. In my opinion their quality control doesn't seem to pick up on certain quality issues and now every other blade I get is rubbish to begin with. a few years ago. I'd really like to see the quality of these blades come back, but knowing Philips it's all about price not quality so these changes are unlikely to materialize. Work at Philips.
