NYX mechanical eyeliners (but not their regular eyeliners) stay silky smooth! I like that it's thick/wide, but if you want something precise, it's not. It doesn't smear easily and really lasts all day. I've had a pencil that only came off 1/8" before the mechanism got stuck (I had to throw it away), but with its low cost and high performance, that didn't bother me much. I'm used to using MAC and Clinique pens ($18 and up) so if I'm unlucky with this brand, it's worth it!
