Please read my review for useful information on different brands of strip lights.

NOTE FACTS: ------------* 65.6' comes in two 32.8' strips. It uses the Duco Strip app available on the Google Play Store. I know there are products that require you to use apps that aren't made by Google or Apple, and I've never liked that. We are pleased to announce that the Duco Strip app is available on the Play Store.* These are the 4-pin SMD 5050 versions. So stick to them and you will be able to connect different brands together. * The brain is in the power supply and in the app, not in the strips. So if you have multiple brands and they use different adapters and different apps. You can choose the adapter and application you want and use ribbons from another set.* The ribbon for this JoFly brand is high quality and rigid. This is either good or bad depending on your project.* The distance between a light source for this JoFly brand is approximately 1-1/8 inches. This spacing is pretty small, meaning you get a lot of lights next to each other. Whether that's good or bad depends on your project. Here are the numbers from other brands I've tried: Charkee - 3 inches. Adikao is 2 inches. * They can be cut to size. Not really. You need to cut along the marked marks on the strips. The distance between one cut and another for this brand of JoFly is about 4 inches and 7.5 inches. Yes, there are two dimensions. Most incision sites are 4 inches apart. But there are parts of the strip where it's 7.5 inches apart. Unfortunately I can't tell you how many dots there are on 7.5 inches as I already have these lights installed. Here are the numbers for other brands I've tried: Charkee is 9.75 inches and Adikao is 6.5 inches. CUTTING DISTANCE IS IMPORTANT WHEN INSTALLING LIGHTS FOR PROJECTION SCREENS: -------------- ---------------------- --- ------------------------- ---------------------- --- ------------------------- --- I wanted to press the strips evenly against the back of the projection screen, which meant I had to use a corner adapter . Because I want a subtle light coming from the back of the screen. If you wrap the LED around the edges of the screen you don't have to worry about adapters, but I like the look of the LED strips sticking out on the sides and they will be too bright. The newbie in me found it easy, I just need to measure how many strips I need horizontally and how many vertically and then connect them with corner adapters. I forgot that the strips can only be cut in certain places. Here the distance of the incision site played a role. As I mentioned above, the distance between each cut for this strip is 4 inches. You can connect a corner, but it's very unlikely that the cut will end up exactly where you need it for the next corner. It's good if you start your project without preparation like I did. It wasn't the end of the world for me because I could bend and twist these ribbons to curl the corners. This brand of JoFly is stiffer so it was a bit difficult to rotate and it just doesn't look as pretty as a good clean corner adapter. Either way, this is food for thought. If you calculate in advance, you can get nice angles by buying strips with intersection points that match your calculations. So you should ask yourself this question before you buy light strips. "What is the distance between the intersections?" This brand uses stiffer belts, which explains their cost. If you don't mind thin ribbons for a third of the price, check out Adikao: https://www.amazon.com/review/R1U6JVEI5XBH1J/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF84-Stars!
