This cookware is made from recycled materials, made in the USA, and is BPA-free! They are very affordable and perfect for casual breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. We bought a set of green and blue colors to give them some variety. Haven't used the cups yet as they seem a bit tipsy. The kids use the cereal bowls every day and they are just perfect. The lips on the sides ensure that small hands can hold on to it. This is NOT microwaveable! Please don't fret about a reviewer complaining that they melt in the microwave. The manufacturer says NOT to use them in the microwave. Use microwaveable ceramic or glass dishes.
