After I put the battery in, the mouse worked great. I am currently using Bluetooth to connect to my computer, but there is also an option to connect via USB. In addition, the battery has a place where the USB connector is located, so that you do not lose it if you only use a Bluetooth mouse and do not connect the mouse to another computer. I really appreciated how quickly it got here. My other mouse just stopped working for unknown reasons. So it was great to get a new mouse so quickly. I also like that it supports Bluetooth. I hate using more cables or USB ports than I need. I don't find it particularly ergonomic, but I don't sit at the computer all day, so it's not a big deal for me. All in all this is a great mouse, cheap and works as it should. I definitely recommend it.
