I've always known about hard and soft water, but nothing new until I moved to a new city and found out that that city has very hard water. My hair gradually became like straw and had split ends. And my skin became dry and then overly oily to compensate for the dryness. After a shower with a fabric softener I have a feeling it will make a big difference. The only way to straighten my hair and keep it from getting tangled throughout the day used to be to use lots of conditioner and so far it has fixed that. . My hair feels like silk and is difficult to tie. It may be too early to tell, but it's looking even more brilliant. The installation of this shower softener is very simple. The only complaint I could complain about is that it came in packaging that had some lube in it which made it difficult to roll but wasn't terrible. Directions are very clear. And there was duct tape in the box, which I think was an extra small step for the manufacturer. It was also one of the cheapest prices I could find and it came with a replacement filter too. So far the price-performance ratio is great. Again I only had a shower but the water changed immediately. I didn't know you could tell the difference between hard and soft water, but you definitely can. Very happy with this product. I will buy from them in the future!
