Review on πŸƒ Stay Light and Hydrated with FuelBelt Helium Ergo Running Belt - Two-Bottle Design by Jose Brunson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great belt but not very comfortable bottles

UPDATE - upgraded from 3 to 4 stars - I checked this after first use and thought I should improve after using it a lot. Simply put, this is my favorite fuel belt (and favorite of any running cup holder) I've ever used. I think I had 4 fuel belts and a few other things. The most important thing about them is how they bounce. It just doesn't exist. I also didn't like how unwieldy everyone else was, and it's not. I'm still having issues with the length of the straps and the design of the bottles. I've found that when I drink I lose some of the water that doesn't get into my mouth because I have to bite and squeeze the bottle to get the water out. I don't want to lose the water I'm carrying, so that's bad. I just really think they could do better. Again, this is my favorite belt I've ever owned. While the primary purpose is to drink water, and that sucks, the bottles just sit around my waist most of the time and it does a better job in that regard. First Review Below - I ordered this with no feedback and thought I should check it out asap. It can be long. In short, I like the design in general, but the bottles themselves are difficult to drink. Landing is good. I didn't like that there is a lot of extra strap when tightening. I'm 6ft 1in and 190lbs which I only mentioned to give context to my statement. Plenty of extra straps (about 4 inches) dangling from each side as I get comfortable. There's still a lot of Velcro so it's not a problem, but I'm just wondering how it would fit a smaller person. I really like how the bottles hide. They also have no "bounce" (if you've used other fuel belts you probably know what I mean). Also, there's a fairly large pocket on the front, which I didn't think I'd like, but I like it. It's also detachable, but if you're worried about the size, just leave the same big thing underneath. Again I thought it was too big but after using it I really liked it. The bottles and front pocket fit perfectly under my shirt while running. It gets weird with bottles. They're made out of fairly hard plastic that's hard to compress (compared to other fuel belt bottles, at least). drink) that you have to squeeze (bite off) for something to come out. I had a hard time biting the tip and squeezing the bottle while running. On top of that, the tip locks when you press on it (like the old tank belt bottles) and I found that when biting the tip, I sometimes accidentally pressed on it and jammed it. I just found it unnecessarily difficult to drink from the bottles. I just wish I could pull out the tip and squeeze the bottle to pour out the water. I used them for the first time today so maybe I'll get used to it over time and update when I do. The first impression, of course, was that they were more difficult to handle than they should have been. At the same time, the fit and the extra pocket are very nice.
