I really liked this case at first. beautiful and functional. BUT. It fits the 8th gen iPad snugly, so it needs a bit of pressure to snap into place. This ripped the screen protector on my iPad. I didn't notice the tear at first, so I removed the protective film and put the iPad back in the case. Moments later my daughter shows me the screen is cracked again, only this time without protection > :( Luckily Apple took care of the screen repair but buying this case was a $50 mistake (the price they paid for the Request repair of a crack. screen ) If you receive one, be VERY careful with it when connecting your iPad.
