Cheap feeling, temporary connection problems

Conclusion: cheap feeling. Works well. Small problems worry me that it will not last long. The plastic clamshell feels cheap as other reviewers have noted. Bought because of the long cord. Unfortunately, it kept disconnecting and reconnecting, giving me a very annoying audio notification about the device constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. After restarting the computer and reconnecting the device and trying different ports, it works fine for now. In addition, it heats up noticeably during use. Currently I only use it for mouse/keyboard and USB audio DAC.
