My cats won't touch it. I let it air out for about a week. Then I rubbed them with their blankets. Nothing yet. Then I washed it, I thought there might be factory smells they don't like. It looked like an old rag. So this looks bad, really bad. But I still thought they might like it. Do not go. So I repeated airing, placed in a good place, and then wiped with a blanket and towel. Used catnip and treats on it. Nothing yet! You won't touch him with a 10ft pole! I washed it myself on a gentle cycle. Dry gently. Then air dry for several days. It's almost unrecognizable. I'm usually good at washing things that need care. I will keep him for a while and then give him to a local animal shelter where I will volunteer. I don't know what else to do. I wanted to like it. I do not recommend this.
