Bright but power hungry and difficult to control light pattern

Good lighting but two problems. First, each of them consumes 100 watts, which is insane for an LED bulb. I used a power resistor (50 ohms at 65 watts, ceramic) to reduce current draw. Most cars only use 50w or 65w bulbs for this application so you run the risk of burning the outlet and/or wiring if you don't limit the current. It can even melt the hull. Second; the light pattern spreads too high, too high, like everyone's beaming at you, too high. In my application (2010 F150) I had to use the full adjustment range to get the radiation pattern where it should be.
