Bought to use with my 9 x 12 inch iPad when traveling. I asked the seller if it would fit and he was told the bag would even fit a 14 inch laptop so yes it will be around 12 inches long. iPad. The iPad ONLY fits in this case and the latches on ONE side can only be locked when the device is in the case. PROS: Although the bag doesn't have a proper closure over the iPad, I think the backpack is just as secure when you're carrying it because the straps and O-ring cross over the opening in a bag that closes (meaning no one can grab and pull the iPad out of the case until you've taught the straps to pull.) Bag all the way around them. It would fit a smaller iPad and close well. Absolutely NOTHING fits in there. that is taller than 12 inches and for it to close properly (by snapping on both sides), you must not put anything in a pocket that is taller than 10 inches. The seller must correct this information in the listing due to ERROR/DISHONESTY. This is a beautiful bag. The seller must be honest about the limitations of the bag.
