Review on πŸ§— Notch Gecko Steel Climbers with Pole Gaffs: Optimal Gear for Superior Climbing Performance by Jerry Eintertainment

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feel safe in these gecko climbers!

These climbers fit me perfectly, although I had to buy new boots with real heels (as well as a steel shank) because the almost flat composite rubber sole of my hiking boots kept slipping despite heavy climbers. Mandatory shoe straps. The rods bite into relatively young 60 foot hemlock and spruce which I have to remove. Box, although with Husqvarna 5-ply chainsaw guards (36"-38") over my thin nylon pants, the climbers' velcro straps only overlapped about an inch past the minimum wrap position. Therefore, larger users may experience problems. But for me they fit great, work great, they're really comfortable, easy to put on and take off, and they look cool. The average price was about $100 more than I originally wanted to spend, but Notch gear's well-done videos helped convince me of the climbers' design and the potential quality of the gear the company was making. As this is my first pair of climbers I can't rate them against competitive climbers and I'm not sure how long the velcro will last, but as I do woodwork from time to time (when a tree on my property is short before the fall), I don't think their longevity will be an issue.
