Wow! I just came across these headphones while looking for a pair of Hi-Res headphones for my new NX4s Hi-Res headphone amp/DAC. Never heard of this brand and with no reviews for this product I knew it was a gamble but there are less than a hundred on sale or one I still couldn't afford to lose. Pros - To be honest I'm very impressed with a hundred bucks. never sounded so good. ultra-low distortion and extremely flat sound reproduction. I mean flat flat if that's what you're looking for. Personally, I like my highs to drop off a bit and the lows to end with a touch. So if you like me and like a slightly altered sound, make sure your turntable or amp has EQ settings. I was skeptical that an electrostatic driver with shells without an amp would be effective but was pleasantly surprised when I plugged them directly into my iPad with no DAC/amp, but sure still sounded good, but I'll definitely use mine that makes these Headphones really popular, no lack of vocals or instrument frequencies, everything is nice and clear. I can't wait to try the movie with atoms. Based on what I've heard so far I'm sure it will be amazing. Cons - High and low frequencies really suffer at low volumes. Vocals are still clean, but with my newfound love for anything that's listed as certified Hi-Res lately, I can barely hear them unless I can hear them at 60% volume or higher. Hexe isn't very important to me and not even remotely a deal breaker as I listen to music at high volume at least 90% of the time and even most of it on the verge of "listening at high volume can cause hearing damage "anyway.'. Hope that helps. I definitely recommend them if your budget is under $100. I haven't heard every part of the headphones up to 100, but I've heard enough to know "ok". that came with your iPhone and will save you money, but I think I have to change my mind about it after hearing that.
