Overall I am happy with this purchase. I had to search a lot to find out what to do with a small antenna. This is a terrestrial antenna, so it only needs to be mounted perpendicular to the main antenna (for those wondering the same). I also found that the 18ft cable was too long for my application, as others have pointed out. In any case, I decided to cut it to length and replaced the connector with SMA-F, so this wasn't a problem for me. Overall I think I cut about 3 feet in Toyota's extended cab, so that length is probably perfect for a double cab or larger full-size pickup. More is always better than too little. I have not tested or adjusted this antenna but it seems to work right away. If I run into any issues with this, I'll be sure to post an update.
