I have had various Puck lights in the past and find them very useful as wall switches are in unusual, sometimes dangerous locations. I need a light to see the light switch above the stairs so I can see walking down the top step in the dark. I also wanted to have some of these distributed around the apartment as the electric company was threatening to turn them off. One light is enough to see the entire bedroom. One will go to the toilet. etc. You must provide 3 AAA batteries per light. I haven't tested whether lightbulbs can be replaced when they burn out, and in the past I've had washing machines that just stopped working even after changing the battery. Some Puck lights I've had for 5+ years are still bright even though I don't use them that often. I haven't tried to mount them anywhere, they just lay flat where they're comfortable, but they came with screws and tape so you have the choice of how you want to mount them.
