After comparing several models and considering customer feedback, I settled on this "Bluetooth Neck Speaker" with its rather unique design and built-in 8GB memory capability. The device connects to my computer without any problems. Windows computer using the included micro USB cable to download a small portion of my collection to internal storage. I later realized that it might have been better to have had another device like this with a microSD card slot for more storage flexibility, but it was too late by then. I now use this LANNIU speaker regularly to stream music when basically connected to my phone via bluetooth. The speakers are so close to my ears that they can be quite loud to the point of hearing fatigue. And they're actually pretty clean sounding devices that cope well with today's louder music and slightly distorted bass on some songs. This does not mean that they generally represent the low frequency spectrum well. on the contrary, they sound very thin and completely lacking in bass. But I bought them, I bought them because I thought that it probably will. I mean, you can't expect heavy bass to come out of the tiny speakers on this ultra-thin device. In addition, the small battery would take a big hit in this case. The tiny form factor and light weight matches the weight of the battery, a small but very capable 700mAh battery that got me through a couple of hours of Bluetooth streaming at a fairly high volume (as well as a couple of calls). The controls are very convenient and accessible when needed (even with thick gloves at work!). The microphone and electronics layer is geared towards handling voice calls etc. and cannot be compared to an expensive wireless device designed primarily for calls, noise cancellation and other call-centric functions. Remember, this is a speaker that can handle calls, not the other way around! To test this, I made a few hands-free calls, which I really enjoyed. I could communicate clearly and fairly consistently. Callers I spoke to said they could hear more noise from the room I was in and a slightly "muddy" voice compared to a cell phone or speakerphone. on my Samsung Galaxy device. This product also doesn't compare to high-end hands-free devices like AirPods and the like. I think for the price there's a good balance of features and quality here if this style of 'portable speaker' catches your interest. I recommend them. The fact that they're so close to my ears means I can use them at a much lower volume than any other "portable" Bluetooth speaker, meaning the music won't shake or disturb those around me and also increases battery life.👍🏼
