I wouldn't say they are sheer enough to pass as holiday stockings, but they do the job. I wash them in the evening and in the morning they are dry. It's a little tricky to put on, you have to learn how to put your feet down fully, including the heel, and then roll them off from there. Very durable, I'm not worried about "running" them. I notice a difference when I wear them, my legs get less tired and I have more energy. I will definitely buy more of these
