I bought this keyboard about 5 months ago while assembling my computer. I was only interested in a wireless keyboard for the location of my tower and the freedom it offers. I work with computers and make a living every day and I have to say that this is probably the best 3x.xx I've ever spent. The keys are similar to laptops in terms of height and keystroke, but are slightly taller and more responsive than what I've experienced in the past. I find it perfect for my use although many people are different and may not like the feel. However, if you are into gaming, word processing, website design, or photo editing, I definitely recommend this keyboard-only combo. As a network administrator I do everything software related and this keyboard is just about perfect for every application I use. After securely connecting the keyboard, I received a flawless response while using it. The only thing I have to say is that you will have to get used to the non-standard keyboard layouts in terms of Home, Delete, End, etc., although I managed very quickly. I don't use Insert very often and when I have to it's straight from the Num Lock key. Having a big "del" key is handy for me sometimes, but when I go to work and use the standard keyboard, it's a bit difficult for me to switch between them during the day, nothing fun, but sometimes I hit that wrong key . at work. The other thing is that I'd rather have the media controls on the left side of the keyboard since I have to take my hand off the mouse to have it on the right side, which isn't a big deal, but if you're using one Playing game, this is a kind of inconvenience. This is a laser mouse with pretty good sensitivity settings. Not as good as the G7 I use, but definitely a steal for the price.
