This was my first attempt at making a paintbrush. I have just finished two shawls that had tassels listed in the finishing instructions. I read many reviews about how to make brushes and decided to try this one. I'm glad I did. My first attempt failed. I didn't tighten my ties tight enough. But I tried again and everything went fine. I deducted a star because I would like to make the brushes "thicker".
