We bought this light for Zoom meetings. at close range. This is NOT and does not claim to be a professional portrait ring light. Video conferencing aside, I could imagine it being used as a light source for product photography. There's a good range of brightness levels, and you can adjust the color temperature in three ways: cool, warm, and medium. The phone holder uses a spring clip to hold the phone cover, but that's about it. g does not fit wider. Just adding a thin case to my 6+ made it too wide for this holder. Please note that the light is powered by a USB socket. If your computer doesn't have an available USB port, you'll need to add a powered USB hub to get more outlets, or use an AC adapter. Overall I think they have a good product.
