Adequate storage solution

Well packaged with adequate padding and not too much waste. There was some styrofoam around the outside edges of the box, but nothing excessive. The instructions were pretty easy. Assembly can be completed in about 20 minutes by one person if you have a drill/screwdriver. There was an extra piece of each type of hardware which was nice as sometimes it can be easy to lose a screw or bolt. Shelves are made from chipboard and can be a bit thicker so the screws are something else to hold on to. The screws holding the bottom plates of my product are more of a formality at the moment. I would definitely recommend smearing your shelf with wood glue before attaching each shelf for added structural integrity. I wasn't expecting this to be the gold standard, but it's not the cheapest option so I was hoping for a little higher quality. Once assembled, it doesn't feel wobbly or brittle, but it doesn't look like it could handle much more weight either. than what my picture shows. He may live in a dormitory for a year or two, or in an attic or adult living quarters for a period of time. But I assume it will be destroyed if kept in a child's room, classroom or similar. I'm not disappointed with my purchase, but it didn't exceed my expectations either. It does what I needed it for: storing my work clothes and my favorite everyday clothes.
