I gave this product a 3 for two reasons.1. There is a long scratch on top of the table when I opened the box, but I can live with it.2. I got a splinter in the palm of my hand when I ran my hand across the surface. The finish needed to be better than what it was to protect people, especially small children. To keep this from happening, I put two coats of polycrylic on it. Not only did it smooth things out, it also made the table look even better.All in all. I really do like the table. I just had to put more work into it than I had hoped. I don’t have any regrets in getting this table. It’s very sturdy and fits in my dining area nicely.
