I never write reviews but this incident made me do it. When the shoes arrived I opened the box and there was a leaflet stating that used shoes are non-returnable. Of course, the return policy is always stated when purchasing a product, but I've never received a flyer that looked like a 1-sentence "text document" that someone had just typed. It should be clear that shoes that have been worn cannot be returned unless there was a defect. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE SHOES LOOK LIKE THEY WERE WORN. I don't understand how this could have been overlooked when the shoes were shipped. The right boot was double knotted and as can be seen in the photos several scuffs are clearly visible and the soles of both boots are dirty. I like the shoes but this seller must have known they were being worn. The paper covering the shoes was crumpled. Also, I have to pay a $5 restocking fee. Basically, it looks like they intentionally sent a worn pair of shoes with a note saying that worn shoes cannot be returned. Again, most people understand that worn shoes are non-returnable. Bad business practice! Otherwise it's a good shoe and fits well. I just placed an order at the Rockport Store.
