I love this duvet so much this is my second purchase of this duvet. I originally ordered a queen bed to replace my full and was so thrilled and received so many compliments that when I received my new purple queen bed and mattress I ordered a comforter for her king bed ordered. I always order a size up as I like my quilts a little longer to drape over the sides and ends of the bed. The weight of this blanket is ideal for year-round use. During the cold winter months, I just add a fluffy blanket that I keep folded up at the end of my bed and that's enough to get me through nights when temperatures dip to 20 degrees. In the spring, summer and fall I use it alone over a top sheet and it's perfect for keeping me warm with the AC on but not too hot to trigger hot flashes or night sweats. This is great for us women going through menopause. I received so many compliments on this beautiful bedspread that I ended up ordering matching curtains. I also ordered some matching pillows that I found online for added aesthetics. All of these brighten up my bedroom and add such a bright and cheerful touch that makes me feel happy when I wake up in the morning. or tumble dry. I wash mine at least once a month as I'm allergic to dust mites and it keeps its shape, size and color vibrancy like the first comforter. I would highly recommend this blanket to anyone!
