I have 3 1080p monitors connected to my laptop. The USB-C ports on my laptop started to loosen due to frequent plugging and unplugging. These magnetic adapters saved the day. I connected two to USB-C ports on my laptop. You control the monitor, receive an internet signal from the Cat5 Ethernet adapter and charge the laptop. The other drives 2 monitors. The one that charges the laptop feels slightly warm, but no different than any other charger I've used. The two USB-C ports on my laptop are very close together, and no other magnetic adapter I've tried before has worked, allowing me to continue using both ports.
