Replacement device is good. I had an old Ikea bed that used a slightly different bracket and couldn't find a replacement after the hardware got misplaced (sort of!) during my recent move. This bracket was the closest I could find. Again, the mount itself is fine. The lace pattern didn't work for my bed, but I'm pretty sure it's right for the new Ikea beds. I ended up having to drill new holes in the headboard and footboard to get the center plank to the correct height.
