I chose a gamepad for a computer between this and Sony's controller, in the end I took both. In operation, I liked the Xbox pad more - firstly, support by games (you don’t need to install any left-handed programs, only one single driver), and secondly, in dual shock, the palms sweat a lot (I didn’t believe it myself before, but it really is). I also liked the cross. Yes, it clicks, but it’s convenient for me to play it personally (I play mostly platform games). I would recommend controller to emulators and fighting game lovers, for everything else this one is better. Although, no matter which gamepad you choose, you are unlikely to be disappointed, but MS and Sony did their best. By the way, even without batteries, it weighs a little more than a controller with a built-in battery, maybe this info is important for someone.
