I can say that this lamp is better than the standard lamp that has been used for over 3500 hours, but there are light artifacts in dark scenes (see the marantz logo in the middle) which is very are annoying and just shouldn't be there. I put the original bulb back in and those artifacts went away, but came back when I put that bulb back in. Too bad, I can't wait for LED projectors to go mainstream.
