We have a large family and tend to use things in ways other than the original intent when that is safe. We use this balm not only for beards and dry skin, but also for scratches. The bottle is very handy and compact. very easy to put in diaper bag, purse, etc. to keep all kinds of skin problems, such as insect bites, scratches, cuts, etc. at hand.
