I don't know what those guys were thinking. I had to use a chisel, file and sandpaper to assemble the Aeropress. Otherwise you would have to force it, which would end up ruining the aeropress. If they made the top shelf a little higher, you could hang a funnel on it. Therefore, you need to place the funnel as you see it in the picture, which means you can't just get a piece of filter paper. You need to take out the filter holder and funnel, lift the funnel, take the filter paper, reassemble and put it back. The slots on the left for the shovel and stirrer are barely big enough for the handles. Why does everything have to be so tight? Have they tried to make this quake steady?
