Great for small cats!
My cat is 9-10 pounds and fits in perfectly. I don't think it would be comfortable for a big burly cat. Sometimes she goes to her little den, but doesn't sleep there yet. She doesn't care about the scratching post, she has other places she likes to scratch most.
