Risk and Reward in Accessory

I'm by no means a keyboard enthusiast, so take this review with caution. This is my first mechanical keyboard I've ever used. I was very hesitant because finding a gaming keyboard to transition into PC gaming (I mostly use a PS4 controller) seems like a daunting task for someone who knows absolutely nothing about peripherals. I watched a few videos and came across this keyboard and it seems to tick all the boxes (that I know of) that an enthusiast could want. mechanical keyboard? Check hot-swap switch? Check Bluetooth? Check 2.4 GHz connection? Do you test USB-C to standard USB cable? check large battery? Check RGB? Check the RGB pattern effects? checkSoftware? check macros? Show checkKey? checkMaybe there's more to mention, but that's all I have for now. You can also remove the outer bezel to give the keys a floating look. The switches are Cherry Mx Red clones by TTC. They are easy to type and feel a little gritty when pressing the keys. Perhaps greasing the switches would further enhance the experience. All buttons are labeled on QWERT keys with available controls such as volume, play/pause, previous/forward, default app shortcuts, RGB settings and 5 Bluetooth connections. You can record macros in the software included in the Amazon product information or with the link mentioned in the included instructions (I don't remember, at the top of my head. Speaking of which, the link to the software in the Amazon Product info seemed sketchy as it is a direct download of a zip file and does not take you to the product's official website.Once you extract the files they are legitimate. If you install any of the software installers in Chinese (I think The firmware connects via a USB-C cable) and then another in English (the actual keyboard software). The software only seems to work when the keyboard is connected via USB. Once connected you are given all the options to Key remapping, recording macros, and various RGB settings such as RGB pattern type, speed, and color selection All in a Everything with all these options for the price I paid ($64 - Black Friday price) is hard to beat in my opinion! UPDATE took apart a keyboard to see what's inside: Outer frame and body: some plastic Keyswitches: TTC-KS4A series (TTC Reds [not lubricated] in my case) Keyboard: some kind of metal, powder coated Stabilizer bars: already oiled which is amazing. Wafer-mount board only: Hot-swappable with Bluetooth/2.4GHz ALSO in wired mode with 2 USB ports for USB passthrough
