Review on Logitech G613 Lightspeed Wireless Mechanical by Stanislaw Was ᠌

The purchase was not worth it at all.

So I joined numerous people with the problem of double-clicking and skipping keys (on average, every fifth or sixth key is either pressed twice or skipped). I liked everything about this keyboard up to this point, but now it has become simply impossible to use, since by the nature of the profession I have to type most of the day (even text editing is not an option, since the Backspace and Delete keys can also work twice or be skipped). I've read on various forums and it's a very common problem. Sometimes purges / strong clicks / long repeated clicks help someone - none of this helped me. The keyboard worked well for about two years. Stored carefully, used carefully, never spilled anything, never hit or anything mechanically sloppy. I think that having such a common problem in such an expensive product (one might say, a premium segment) is a terrible disgrace on the part of the manufacturer. Obviously, there is some problem in terms of assembly or components used, but judging by the reviews, this problem has existed for a very long time (the keyboard went on sale in early 2022), however, the manufacturer does not intend to fix it. What can I say - a shame, there are no other words. For the time being, I had to switch to an old spare wired keyboard, which at that time cost some pennies, which has been working for probably ten years, or even more, and which has already taken upon itself both tea and coffee, and ruthless emotional blows ( on impulsive youth in online games). And nothing, it works without problems at all. Well, this "premium" product in quotation marks, most likely, will go to the trash. It's a pity, of course, even just from the point of view of finances, but it's impossible to use, and the guarantee is over. If you have no desire to play roulette and, perhaps, use an expensive keyboard for only a year or two, then I strongly do not recommend buying it.

Pros
  • - Large comfortable buttons - Clacking sound when pressed is pleasant to the ear - Pleasant keys when pressed (tactile) - Strict minimalist design - Wireless, two connection options (native receiver and bluetooth)
Cons
  • - Appeared double-clicks and skipping keys after two years of use - Periodic rare breaks in communication (once an hour or two) for half a second or a second either by the native receiver or by bluetooth (there is no such thing with a wireless mouse and PS5 controller), appeared earlier than double clicks, somewhere in a little over a year after purchase . Not to say that the problem is critical, but sometimes it's still unpleasant, especially in games
