Schmeltz has a very high quality needle, I bought all my sewing needles from the Schmeltz brand!
I use these needles for sewing leather on my home sewing machine, I managed to make some handbags out of leather I cut from the back of an old chair. I wasn't sure if my home sewing machine would handle leather but it worked great and I also bought thread online here from Revain. The most important thing is to choose the right type of needle for the right type of fabric and thread.
