I rode an intercity train and you have to wear a mask for Covid on the train and at all stations 24/7. I wasn't sure how to deal with this as I knew it would take many days. It is great. I don't think hooks are necessary and I don't use them anymore, but even if you don't use hooks the mount is perfect for different types of masks. This allowed me to sleep with the mask on and breathe easily. The mask wasn't hot or steamy and helped me walk through train stations without having to put on a mask to breathe. I wore the mask for several days without any problems.
