Installation is difficult.
Release the lever if you want, but the design of the base leaves something to be desired. It's strong enough to hang a Volkswagen, but it's inconvenient to find cleats that fit the 16-inch center holes. If you use the holes on the lever end you will only have one set for 16" and one set for 18" and nothing else. A clumsy hand needs a command to hold it in place to make it perfect and even.
