The fan is very quiet, the legs on the bottom have two different heights to adjust the angle (im Image I'm showing a taller brace on one side and a shorter brace so you can see the difference, it's not broken just to show two different heights.) It has two small handles that pop out in front to allow your laptop The included USB cable is only 24" long, which means it plugs directly into your laptop. But since it was purchased for virtual learning, we added a USB extender so we can power the fan being able to plug straight into an outlet instead of sucking laptop battery life (as that's already exceeding his limit for a 7 hour study day)... My son i st very excited because this is his favorite color and it glows... all in all a good buy and price! Hopefully it will stand up to the use and abuse of high schoolers!
