But nice steering wheel. best road bikes

first let me say i will update this as time goes on. Now March 31, 2021. Also, I'll give this 4 stars without question if more games support its defining feature, and I'd give it 5 stars if you don't have to buy 2 identical wheels if you want to use the wheel on Xbox. /game console. There's no real reason this shouldn't work on both, as they're hardware identical down to the last screw. The key names are the only difference other than the software flag saying it can't work on another console. So the bike, like the Logitech bikes that came before it, runs on a system of gears and rattling motors to give steering feedback and bump feel and whatnot. The ONLY new thing here (besides the improved brake pedal) is a spinning disc that best mimics the feel of a car's engine speed and some other little things you might feel through a car's steering wheel. Basically the sound of the game is used. for it, and it's actually a pretty compelling system BUT the game has to explicitly support this feature and the problem is that most games don't. Even the games on the Logitech website that are on the supported games list do not always have this feature as it should have been added to those games but has not been added and Logitech is updating the list on the main or support site never. The problem is that they charge $50-$100 more for this wheel than the g920, which is otherwise the same force feedback system but without the aspect mentioned above. To be honest, the system that Logitech uses hasn't changed much since the PS2. Speaking of consoles. They sell it in Xbox and Playstation variants. The difference between them is only in the inscriptions on the buttons. Oh, and a little software flag that tells the console that the wheel shouldn't work. So, as the owner of both consoles, I'm really concerned that my $400 steering wheel won't work on my gaming console for no reason. Those complaints aside, I like the steering wheel. I switched from a g27 that I had installed to a Playsets Evolution 3 model seating/mounting system. All mounting hardware is the same and there was no problem mixing and matching pedals, switches or brakes. Everything worked right away, although I suggest searching the web for the best FFB (Force Feedback) settings for the game (they're different for everyone) and then dialing them in to your personal taste. It's easy to do, and to be honest after you've done it for a few games you can basically tweak any game without having to dig into settings unless the game is giving you trouble. In summary this is another high quality wheel from Logitech that I really hope gets more support in games as the games they say will be patched have never been updated yet. Even the brand new Dirt 5 doesn't support it, and the code makers had most games on the compatibility list. Unfortunately, most of the promised games didn't get the support they were supposed to. If this is your first steering wheel, take the time to adjust it. In the beginning you will probably be significantly worse than with a controller, but after a few hours of training and a good night's sleep you will find that you have the best lap times and need fewer aids such as ABS, TCS and TCM games.
