We tried three different ramps/stairs for the dog especially after he had surgery on both knees. He hated them all and would not use them. Out of desperation, I got this one. He turned his nose up at it. Then, we put treats on each step and a bunch on the couch cushion. He jumped on the couch gobbled up the treats and then went down the steps eating the treats. From that point on, he would jump up to couch and run down the stairs. A couple days later, I saw him running up and down the steps like an expert. He had so much fun and would take the stairs at run. Once he got the hang of it, he loved it. I was ready to get him the four tier stairs for the MB bed. But our little guy got cancer and didn't last long.But these steps made a huge difference in his quality of life. I do wish I had bought the four tier steps months ago for him.
