Review on Drip coffee maker Maxwell MW-1650, black by Barbara Knap ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unsatisfactory quality, I won't buy it anymore.

Even though it is more expensive, if I had been making my choice in a store, I would have gone with another one that was higher quality and had auto-off. One settles, purchased with incentives.

Pros
  • making coffee
Cons
  • Not what was described. There is an auto-shutdown, as stated in the description. Very thin. The filter chamber and lid don't seal tightly, and occasionally steam escapes through the holes in the lids. The compartment containing the filter dangles when you remove the mug since it is not firmly fastened. It smelled like plastic on the first boil. The coffee then started to smell.

I hardly drink coffee myself. Bought for my wife. The wife is delighted with the unit.

Its pros: Cheap and compact, easy to handle Cons: Plastic, I hope it lasts longer than it looks

Got pros: Compactness. Reusable filter. Spoon included. Price. Nothing extra. Cons below: As long as everything suits. A little noisy, the water makes noise during the run, but all coffee makers are not silent.
