Everything seems unreliable here. As I screwed the hooks into the body of the hanger, I expected them to stop when they got far enough. No, it didn't. The screw portion of the hook went right through the top of the hanger body, which was so thin I didn't feel the difference between screwing the hook into a pre-drilled hole and going through the plastic. Each of the hangers had at least one spot where the plastic wasn't processed where it came from the mold. A sharp piece of plastic was left that can very easily catch on the fabric. I took a wood file to each of them to smooth out the sharp part. This is an indication of poor quality control. Paying $1.29 per hanger for hangers that I have to screw hooks into and finish raw edges is not my idea of a quality product. A design where the center piece is almost in the same plane as the clamps. The clips are tight so they hold pants or skirts well. They are so tight that they can leave a dent in your clothing, so you must be careful to fasten your clothing in a place that is not visible. Taken together, these rather minor issues result in a product that we won't be buying again in the future.
