If you're looking for your first corset, trying a new color or a new look, making a practice costume, or dipping your toe into clothing that isn't just your daily bra and don't want to spend a lot, these are perfect. They are not boned. They are low quality. They will die fast. If you plan to wear them more than once or twice a year or longer than an hour or so, they will not last and you will be disappointed. That being said they were great for what I wanted and when I'm ready to get ones I actually want to wear often I'll be getting it from a ren faire or similar shop owner and expect to pay significantly more for something I'll have use out of for 20+yrs
